I am Surendra. I am a PhD student in the Department of Astronomy at Yale University. I am working with Prof. Malena Rice where we are finding the correlation between obliquity and eccentricity of exoplanet systems. Prior to this, I was at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata where I did my integrated BS-MS dual degree with a major in Physics. I completed my Master's thesis project at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.
My research lies in the field of exoplanets and understanding their orientations and atmospheres. I am also researching parallelly on star-planet interaction and stellar evolution of low-mass stars.
